Hi Beckie, In the Highland County Cemetery Book "Vital Records of Highland County Virginia"; For info in the Doe Hill Cemetery it reads as follows: Capt. John McCoy Rev. War Burial Site 1mi. south on Hiner Farm There is a copy of this cemetery book in the Monterey Library located in Monterey, VA, Highland Co. which is about 15 miles from the Doe Hill Cemetery.
