From "The Henckel Genealogy 1500-1960, Compiled by William Sumner Junkin, 1964, p. 222 554 Moses Teter born about 1774 in Augusta County, Virginia (now Pendleton County, West Virginia); died prior to March 6, 1846; married (1st) December 14, 1813 to Sarah Phares (Morton's History of Pendleton County has Edith Teter) by Reverend Moses Henkle (Pendleton County Marriages 1800-1850, Page 6). Issue one (1) son. Moses Teter married (2nd) October 15, 1817 (official Marriage Record 1800-1850 at Franklin, West Virginia, Page 10) by Reverend Jesses Henkle to Elizabeth Hedrick, daughter of Frederick Hedrick, born about 1794 Pendleton County, Virginia (now West Virginia). In 1850 Census of North Fork Hills, Elizabeth Teter, age fifty-six, resided with son Joshua Teter. According to Will Book 4, Page 280 recorded at Franklin, Pendleton County, West Virginia, Moses Teter had died prior to March 6, 1846 p. 263 5944 Abel Henkle, Sr., born August 8, 1802 Pendleton County Virginia (now West Virginia); died prior to 1848 Pendleton County, Virginia; married October 12, 1820 (Official Pendleton County Marriages, Page 13) by Reverend Jesse Henkle to Phoebe Hedrick (1796-1874) daughter of Frederick Hedrick and sister of Adam Hedrick who married Jezebel (Jesabel) Henkle sister of Abel Henkle. Abel and Phoebe (Hedrick) Henkle were patents of eight (8) children. On May 3, 1848 Phoebe )Hedrick) Henkle signed a marriage bond with Edward Osting (Cayton) for the marriage of her daughter Mahala to Edward Cayton indicating she was a widow at that time. She was included in 1850 Census of Pendleton County, Virginia. 5946 Jezebel (Jesabel) Henkle born September 22, 1807 Pendleton County, Virginia (now West Virginia); died 1895; married March 17, 1825 (Official Pendleton County Marriage Record, Page 19) by Ferdinand Lair to Adam Hedrick son of Frederick and Mary E. (_________) Hedrick. He was born in 1803 and died in 1857 Pendleton County, Virginia. They were parents of nine (9) children. Jezebel (Henkle) Hedrick was included in will of her father Michael Hinkle as one of his three daughters (Will Book 4, Page 400, filed at Franklin, West Virginia). The Will of Adam Hedrick dated December 11, 1856, probated December 3, 1857 included wife Jezebel, five sons and four daughters. Henry F. Keller (son-in-law) executor. Witnesses: Benjamin Y.
