I am related to Christian Hedrick b. 1806 Pendleton Co., another son of Frederick Hedrick. He married on Dec. 7, 1826 in Pendleton Co. to Elizabeth Day. I am told that Elizabeth is mentioned in Morton's history of Pendleton as a daughter of Basil Day and Susannah Lamb Day. I show eleven children for Frederick and Elizabeth Conrad Hedrick. I am also related to Teter and Phares. Christina Phares b. May 10, 1787 (d/o Johnson and Sarah Negley Phares) married Feb. 3, 1807 to Reuben Teter. My problem is that I am related to their daughter Edith Teter/Phares b. 1804 who married Adam Sites. As you can see from what I have found, Edith was born three years before the marriage!! I don't know for sure if she is a Teter, but I guess I can claim the Phares name!! Becky, I am a descendant of both Christian and Adam Hedrick (Andrew Jackson & Rebecca -1st cousins), sons of Fredrick born abt 1766. I have Mary Elizabeth Fisher as his wife, as do quite a few others. Mary Elizabeth Fisher was a daughter of Elizabeth Conrad b. 1746 and George Fisher, Jr. b. abt 1742 Fredrick's parents were Charles Hedrick b 1740 and Barbara Conrad b. 1742 (Elizabeth's sister) . This makes Fredrick & Mary Elizabeth first cousins, not unusual for this time period. Some sources say Mary Elizabeth Fisher is part Indian. I am looking for anyone who would like to discuss this issue. I do not show Elizabeth's brother Jacob as having a daughter named Elizabeth. Is your Elizabeth Conrad one of Jacobs granddaughters? Who do you have as your Elizabeth Conrad's parents?
