This is from Morton's History of Pendleton County which has a lot of mistakes. Ezekial was born 1767 I believe, so how could he have a son Basil who would marry Susannah Lamb in 1794. The Basil Day that married Susannah Lamb was Ezekial's brother and they were sons of Leonard. Morton was confusing Basils and Ezekials of two generations. I believe although it isn't proven that Samuel is Basil and Ezekial's brother.
