Robin, Unfortunately it doesn't look like we have a match. Daniel Black was born in Ireland in 1778 and didn't arrive in the US until about 1802. He settled in Ohio, but his son Daniel Black married Hannah Smith, daughter of Henry Smith of Pendleton County and the younger Daniel moved to Pendleton County before the 1850 census. Jane, Did Daniel Black have a daughter named Susannah born 1810 who married Christopher "Stuffield" Swiger? They are my ancestors and I haven't been able to find her parents. Thanks.
