    3. In adding to Bill's comments, I found one of my grandfather's who was in a similar situation in the Pendleton County Chancery Court records. Get the Pendleton County Court records from that time and you probably will find a record of it. The parents would be named as well as the reason for his being bound out. Microfilm of those court records is available through your local (or nearby) LDS Family History Center.
