There are a few things the members of this group can do to help make their messages more effective. 1. DO NOT include original post in your reply. 2. Set your email to plain text rather than HTML when replying to a message from this board. 3. Type a message that is descriptive of the lines you are researching. Please use dates, locations and any other information to clearly identify the lines you are working on. "Looking for John Conrad" or "Catherine Miller" is not effective. There are probably multiple John's and Catharine's in this county. Please identify the person the best you can. There are also settings the list administrator can put in place to stop the gibberish. I suggest the administrator take a look at the group settings and make some adjustments. Many my not like these suggestions, but I bet you will find more meaningful responses and understanding of the messages with little adjustments from both the administrator and our members. Thanks Bill for bringing this up.
