The Fort Seybert Heritage Educational Association (FSHEA) is conducting cemetery surveys in the Deer Run area on July 19. We are concentrating on cemeteries with burials of 1900 and earlier. This is part of our Identification and Preservation Project. The surveys will be stored at the State Historic Preservation Office in Charleston and available, when completed, in the Pendleton County Library. The cemetery, according to the 1977 Grave Register is on Troublesome Valley Rd. The early owner was Adam Lough. The present owner in 1977 was Dr. R. H. Boggs. Adam H. Lough (1824-1892) and his wife Naomi (Eye) Lough (1830-1904 were among those listed at that time. The earliest burial was shown as Robert N. Lough (1827-1829). I'll see if it can be found. Any additional information you may have would be appreciated. Or if you have questions about this project. FSHEA is also working on an interactive DVD documentary of the water powered mills. The Mallow Mill in Kline with an interview by David Mallow is included. Sandra Pope, Chairman/Project Manager FSHEA **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring.
