Thirdly I appoint my wife Barbara and my Son Jacob to be my Excors. This is my Last will and Testament So done in presence of The under Written Witnesses this 18th day of April 1801 Frederick Propts Witnesses Michael Propts Henry Swartly At a Court held for Pendleton County on Tuesday the 1st Day of December 1801 this Translation of the Last Will and Testament of Frederick Probst deceased made by Sebastian Baker was sworn to by the said Baker and Ordered to be Recorded Teste ? Dyer Note that Frederick only named five of his children in his will. I suppose that would mean that those were the ones still at home at the time, but am not sure. Deeds prove that he did have ten children, as it is stated in some that the courts had divided his land into ten equal parts. The best that I have found through various deeds - these are the children not named in his will. Daughters: 1. Mary - married to Henry Propst (Son of oldest Daniel and wife Sophia) 2. Catherine - married to Tunis Mcllwyn (spelling) Sons: 1. John - married to Margaret (lived in Randolph Co.) 2. Henry - died Rockingham Co. in 1813 - married to Elizabeth Kiger (Kizer) 3. Adam - married Rachel Eye Hope this is helpful Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
