That is supported by the disposition of one of Lewis' properties in Pendleton County. All the Bush properties - for Lewis, Michael, Leonard, and John - were sold in Pendleton County near the time of their removal to OH (Leonard stayed longer than the others) and I only know of one Bush who remained in the county although there may have been others there under married names as well as some who went to other counties in now WV. This link may help, although there are some errors: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hcpd/norman/BUSH.htm I descend from Catharine Bush Mallow, dau of Leonard Bush and Catharine Stingley, who moved on to Ohio. Catharine was the wife of George Mallow Sr. They remained in Pendleton County. Her death notice reads: Died in Pendleton Co, VA, July 19 [1868], sister Catharine Mallow, aged 82 yrs, 1 month, and 12 days. She was a faithful member for many years, and was much beloved. Funeral service by the writer from Heb. 4: 8-10. The funeral service was given by Elder Jacob Wine of Virginia. It seems her grave is unmarked. Some of her husband's family members were buried in what had been the cemetery of Mallo's Dutch (Deutsch) Church and is now Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Kline (Pendleton Co.). Her husband owned several parcels of land in the county but considered his Walnut Bottom land his homeplace. It's possible she buried there.
