Hi again Helen (& Joe) I have the children of Adam and Mary (HINKLE) JUDY the same as Helen except no Mahala as a daughter and a different Elizabeth JUDY (not the one who married William AYERS) as their daughter Before I get into Mahala, the William (age 21 - b ca 1829) in their houseold (#350) in the 1850 Pedleton census has a last name of HARPER and is shown as a "laborer". I have no reason to believe a Willam "HARPER" would be a son of theirs. As I set in an earlier posting, the 3 JOHNSON childen of Mahala JUDY and Robert R. JOHNSON (Rebecca, Adam Charles) were living in the 1850 Penndleton Co, household (#270) of Adam and Mary (KIMBLE) JUDY along with their 9 y/o dau, (my GGGM>) Susan C, JUDY. I beleive Mahala is as daughter of theirs. I am sure that the Elizabeth JUDY who m William AYERS was the d/o Adam and Mary (KIMBLE) JUDY as well. I have found information from the book "ALT & KIMBLE Families" which show the 3 daus of Adam and Mary (KIMBLE) JUDY as Mahala JUDY (m JOHNSON in 1839) Elizabeth JUDY (m Wm AYERS in 1845) and (my GGGM>) Susan C. (though m not in book, she marrie my GGGF, Gerge William SLUSHER on 7 Sep 1858) NOTE NOTE NOTE: Take a look at your child #5: Adam and Mary (HINKLE) JUDY's daughter, Elizabeth was 15 y/o in the 1850 census and thus born about 1835 as you said. She couldn't be the Elizabeth JUDY who married William AYERS on 18 Nov 1845, she would be 10 years old. Regards, Otis
