In Louise Morrison's book on the Hefners she says: "My great-uncle, Milton Wylie Humphreys, told me and wrote in his autobiography that Mary Mallow Hevener lived to be 112 years of age and died in 1861 at the home of her granddaughter, Mary McQuain Hefner Humphreys in Greenbrier County, Virginia." What do you think of this? Dennis Hevener gives her date of death as 1804.
