Please Santa, break down this BRICK WALL for me for Christmas! My Sara D. WILSON was born on July 17, 1824 in Pendleton County, VA and married there on May 14, 1848 to Charles Beckwith FOWLER, born March 28, 1825 in Rockingham County, VA a son of Wilson W. and Lucinda (NICKOLS) FOWLER. Sara's death certificate says that she is a daughter of James WILSON but no mother is given. To my knowledge, her and Charles's marriage license does not list parents. Below is all I have to go on as far as a mother for Sara. Can anyone help???? A James WILSON married Sarah SMALLRIDGE in Pendleton County, Va., on March 8, 1823. Ceremony performed by Otho Wade, Can anyone give me a list of children of this couple?? Also, a James WILSON married Rachel BLIZARD in Pendleton County on June 15, 1819. Ceremony performed by F. Lair. Is this the SAME James WILSON with two different wives. Does anyone have a list of the children of this couple. Any help greatly appreciated. Will answer all responses.
