She originally published these. Jackie Puffenbarger re-typed both books into a computer file and set them up for re-publication as a combined volume. She incorporated my corrections to Mary's reading of the hand writing on the records that are at the WVU Archives. The Historical Society sponsored the reprinting of these--they did not do the abstracting. Is anyone on this list contemplating this project? Does anyone know if Wes Cochrane published marriages from Pendleton County? His books are based upon the WPA records, not the originals, thus are subject to errors in transcription. Pendleton County's WPA records are particularly poor. You can always rent the microfilm from the LDS and photocopy the pages. Unfortunately, the marriage books are not indexed.
