Good Morning Betteann, Can you tell me the date and place where you found the bond of guardianship for Jacob Dunkle over Margaret Janes. This would confirm the genealogy compiled by George W. Janes, gr-grandson of William Janes that Jacob Dunkle married Eleanor Janes. We find Jacob on the 1820 Fayette Co. census, right age, Also Dills History of Fayette says Jacob was there in 1811. It is my belief that Jacob and Eleanor was the drawing card for the sibling families of Eleanor, William, Edward and Elizabeth (Janes) Waybright to move to Fayette Co. OH about 1820.
