Joyce, I read your post with great interest. It appears we have some family in common. Some of the WAYBRIGHT information I have is different than yours, however. For example, I have a Catherine Helmick married Elijah Waybright ion March 28, 1851. Source: Pendleton County Marriage Book 1800-1857 p. 52. I believe Catherine Helmick died in 1895. I haven't seen it, but a relative of mine says that she is buried at Waybright Cemetery No. 47 in Hunting Ground, WV and that the inscription on her tombstone reads: "Erected by G.W. Waybright in memory of his Mother Catherine Grady (Waybright) who died March17, 1895, age 61 years. Oh sing to me of Heaven when I am called to die." I hope this helps.
