    1. RE: Simmons Information
    2. Gary Simmons
    3. Thanks for your response cousin. I have printed your data and I will compare it with what I have now. I have read the County histories but I don't think that I have seen the book written by Walter Eye. The history of Leonard and Mary of Roane County is very good but I can't seem to match up the dates of Leonard in the two counties. These books indicate that Leonard came to Roane County with the Boggs and the Vandels by way of Greenbriar County. There may be some good information available from people working on those families. I have in my files the names of people working on the family history but they are old and I have not been able to arouse much interest. Surely someone has found answers to the questions about our family and if we keep looking we might find them.
