Jesse Hinkle BUT I have NOT documented any of it. Jesse and Catherine (Harper) Hinkle, Sr. were my 4th Gt.Gdparents. All data is of Pendleton Co., Va.. Jesse was b. 2 Oct. 1782 s.o. Capt. Isaac and Mary (CUNNINGHAM) Hinkle. Jesse d. 29 July 1869; buried at Butler Cem. - Roy Gap.; m. 1/w _?_ ENGLE; 2/w m. 27 Aug. 1818 to Charlotte HIVELY; 3/w Catherine "Kit" HARPER (never married) d.o. Philip and Ann or Elizabeth MOSER (?) Harper, Jr.. She's buried at Dolly Cem., East of Riverton, W.Va.. He was Capt. - 46th Va. Reg. - War 1812 Col. - in the Mexican War (don't have Reg., etc.) Children by 1st m.: 1. Jessie, Jr. b. ca 1819 d. ca 1879 m. 1/w 3 Jan. 1837 by Geo. Rains to 1/w Mary Eve BIBLE 2/w Emma Jane (PORTER) PENNINGTON, widow of Samuel Pennington. 2. (probably) Israel b. ca 1823 d. 29 May 1861 m. 10 Feb. 1846 bu Geo. Schmucker to Amelia FISHER Children by 3rd m.: 1. Mary Magadena "Polly" b. ca 1808 d. ??? m. 16 March 1829 to Adam JUDY. 2. Elizabeth m. 1841 to Tobias RAINES.
