There were Pritchards in Hampshire Co. before 1758,including a Rees Prichard who died in that year,survived by wife named Elinor and five children(King, Abstract of Wills, Fredrick Co. Va,) I have the Will Book of Fredrick Co. 1753-1800 and on page 11 Rees Prichard 25 April 1758, 6 sept 1758 Will, to wife's son Johns Evans, 260 acres of land. rest of the estate to be divided between wife and five children as the law directs.
