    3. Hi Karl, my name is Jim Hedrick from Nebraska. Upon reading your letter, a couple of things stood out. My ancestors owned land in the South Fork of Pendleton Co. Also my grandfather, Adam Hedrick was in Co F 62d Virginia Infantry participating in battles in and about the Shenandoah Valley, Richmond, and Gettysburg under the command of Gen Early. He was captured there and finished out the war in Camp Chase, Ohio as a POW. Unfortunately I have no letters, pictures or anything of interest, with the exception of the daily muster showing Adam Hedrick present as a POW. If you should come across anything on the Hedricks please contact me. I'll do the same in your search. Thanks, Jim Hedrick -----Original Message----- From: KSquared77@aol.com <KSquared77@aol.com> To: WVPENDLE-L@rootsweb.com <WVPENDLE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, September 20, 1999 12:56 PM Subject: New Member >Hello, > My paternal grandparents were born in Brandywine, Pendelton county. >Please see the following general line: > >Harry Kiser (Shirley Trumbo) >1883-1972 > ST-(1890-1984)-Morgan Gilbert Trumbo (Mary Catherine Byrd) >Daniel Kiser (Louisa Stone)-Civil War Vet >1841-1896 > LS (1841-1920)-Jacob Stone (Hannah Trumbo) >John Kiser (Mary Propst) >1816-1898 > MP (1815-1880)-Daniel Propst (Sophia Eye) >William Kiser (Barbara Wise) >1786-1853 > BW (1793-1858)-Adam Wise (Barbara) > > Most of this group resided on the South Fork area (Brandywine to Sugar >Grove) of the county.
