There were a lot of Wilsons, including several Samuel's and probably a William or two at Doe Hill in what is now Highland County (then part of Pendleton). The "original" Wilson moved there before the Rev. War from elsewhere in Virginia and was probably b. near Philadelphia. His father was b. in Ireland 1702.
