The George Wimer line is not my line, but Glen Huffman provided me a brief sketch of that family. George purchased land from George Nicholas 6 Jan 1794 in Pendleton co. These are the children of George and Elinor Wimer: 1. John Wimer, b. ca. 1784, d. 1840-50. md. Hester Syford in 1832 2. Jacob Wimer, b. 5 Mar 1787, d. 16 Jul 1876, md. Sarah Seybert in 1816, buried at Circleville Methodist Church (see Graves Register 1, p. 17) 3. George Wimer, b. 4 Oct 1793, d. Dec 1883, md. Susannah Zickefoose in 1824, md. Anne Rexrode in 1857. George purchased his father's Hunting Ground land from his brothers John and Jacob in 1839. 4. Eleanor Wimer, (1791-1882), md. John Hevener (1780-1856) in 1816. 5. Barbara Wimer, md. Andrew Arbogast, in 1821 6. Susannah Wimer, md. George Hid(e)y in 1822 7. Henry Wimer, (1803-1883), md. Elizabeth Zickefoose in 1827. To Lewis County after 1830. 8. Rebecca Wimer, unmarried 9.
