Hello List, Hope that everyone is doing well. I know a while back, probably about a year ago, there were several people on the Pendleton County list who were researching the Wimer and/or the Thompson families. My GGGG Grandparents were George Thompson and Mary Wimer, who were married on April 29, 1819 in Pendleton County, (West) Virginia. George Wimer was a bondsman, but I believe he was Mary's brother, and not her father. Does anyone out there know who Mary Wimer's parents were??? I once had the information, but got rid of it when I didn't think I descended from that particular Thompson/Wimer family. However, through careful and accurate research, I've proven Mary Wimer to be my ancestor, and unfortunately, I no longer have the information that stated who her ancestors were. If anyone can help or refer me to someone who can, I'd love to hear from you.
