Chris, my ggggrandfather was John Cook who married a Mary Ann Simmons from Pendleton Co. in 1799 or 1802(their obiuaries show different dates!). I believe Mary Ann was the daughter of a Leonard Simmons, based on 1820 Will Book in Pendleton Co. Any connection? Ed Cook Chester, CA edcook@thegrid.net "Christopher T.
