The name William HARRIS caught my eye. I have been trying to find the parents of John Harris that married Margaret Mumbert in Pendleton Co. 24 DEC 1832. Even though the marriage records call her Rebecca, her name was Margaret and they called her "Peggy." They moved to Lewis Co. sometime after they married. John was born in 1806 and died in Lewis Co. in 1885. These two are my Pendleton Co. connection and my Gr. Grand Parents. Any connections or knowledge of these two out there? Don Wilson Chalmette, LA
