Hello, I'm Bill Larew, I live in Newburg, Preston Co. I'm interested in the Lambert Family. My Mom was a Lambert, her GGGrand Father was Solomon Lambert s/o John & Hannah Lambert. He was listed in the PC census of 1870 but not in 1860 so I presume they came here between 1860 & 70. His wife was Malinda Nicholas, d/o Adison & Mary Nicholas. The story goes that were from a place called Crab Bottom. Does anyone know where that might be? There was a Query on Rootsweb WVPENDLE dated Nov. 98 from a Diane Moore looking for info on Solomon and Malinda. Her email address is no longer any good, I would really like to talk to her, if anyone knows who she is or how to contact her. I'm looking forward talking to you in the future.
