In response to the comment "But seems to me I looked at it, and came to the conclusion that if it wasn't in Morton or Toothman, you are in trouble," I would add this. I'm not familiar with Toothman's books but do have Mortons. Morton's can be a starting point, but on page 493, there is a note that "A number of errors, omissions, and the like are not the fault of either author or printer, but are due to circumstances over which neither had control." Some of the errors are due to the lack of resources available at that time. The importance to document what you find cannot be over emphasized.
