Greetings Tim: I was reading your post on the Pendleton list when I noticed the surnames you are researching...one of them being Barclay (Barkley)...would that connection be for you Levi Eye who married Sarah E. Barkley in 1868?...if so, Sarah is my gg-grandmother's, Caroline Barkley, sister...maybe that would make Sarah my gg-aunt... I have several children listed for the marriage Levi and Sarah, but no descendants from there... I have some info on the Barkley family if you are intersted or perhaps you have something you can share regarding the Barkley family...it has been difficult to trace beyond Sarah's parents, Obed and Eleanor Davis Barkley...they were married in 1819 in Pendleton and I cannot locate this family in Pendleton prior to that... Also, if you have any info that you are willing to share regarding the children and descendants of Levi and Sarah Barkley Eye I would appreciate that... Stelman was the son of David, the son of Levi.........Sarah's husband. I have been trying to get recent information on our generation and the next to fill some gaps........anything you have would certainly help.
