Hi Una, Have you checked Morton or Toothman? I have some Mosers in my background and I recall one of the Moser girls married a Hinkle boy about 1800, but that would be too late to help you. But seems to me I looked at it, and came to the conclusion that if it wasn't in Morton or Toothman, you are in trouble. By the way, there was no Hardy County until 1786; probably the birth was in Augusta County.
