I am researching a MILLER family that came from Pendleton Co., W.Va., to Fayette Co. Ohio in 1811. The emigrants name was George Miller. He first married a Miss Negley, then Susan Hagler (Haigler) in 1814. They had 8 children. The first child was named Henry (b1815), who married Mary Burnett, daughter of Robert Burnett. They had 5 children. When she died, he married Rebecca Blue in 1851, and they had 2 children. My gg grandfather was their first child and his name was George W. Miller. I would be most grateful if anyone out there could put me on the trail of the ancestors of this family. Where were they before coming to W.Va. From where did the family emigrate to this country and when? Any info would be appreciate and would be glad to provide what additional data I have to anyone interested.
