Thanks Steve. I printed out the map and will study it. I am coming to believe that Fryer's Hill is further north than Frye knob. The deed I have talks about 130 acres "on the east side of Black Thorn on the west side of Fryer's hill." That map does show Brushy Hill, and I have another deed that mentions it. I was having trouble trying to determine if Brushy Hill was the same as Brushy Mountain (near Forks of Waters). Now I think they are different features. Bill Rexroad Hutchinson, Kansas
