Pat - I'm afraid I don't know how to interpret that. It appears to be saying Greenbriar County. I'm looking for the hill in Pendleton. Please help me understand what that says. Bill Rexroad Hutchinson, Kansas
There is a "Frye Knob" (elevation 3148 ft) about 3 miles NE of Doe Hill, which is just south of the Pendleton Co. border in Highland Co., VA. Doe Hill is situated on the divide. The headwaters of the Bullpasture River start there and flow southwest. Similarly, the headwaters of the Whitethorn and Blackthorn Creeks start near there but flow northeast. Thorn Mountain is just north of Frye Knob. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Rexroad" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 16, 2002 8:41 AM Subject: [WVPENDLE] Fryer's Hill > Pat - > > I'm afraid I don't know how to interpret that.
