    3. I am interested in a COOK family that lived in Pendleton county during the early part of the 1900's. William H. COOK married Eliza A. PROPST in 1905. They had a daughter named Jessie, in 1908. A son was born about 1911. I can find this family on the 1920 census, but cannot make out the son's name. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may know the son's name, or can give me any other help. This is not my direct line, and I know almost nothing about it. I am at a standstill on my own COOK's, and believe that this is a parallel (male) line. I appreciate any information. John

I've recently started delving into Pendleton Co. history, as we've learned that our Brock's Gap, Rockingham Co. Hoover family appears to be descended from Sebastian Hoover. So these Hoovers, together with their spouses and neighbors, are my main focus right now. I'd love to hear who else has done Hoover research! We have a private Hoover website for those who are related and interested. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
