    1. Introduction
    2. Kimberly S. Kline
    3. Hi Everyone, By way of introduction, I am a native Pendletonian, although I was born out of state, and even out of the country due to my dad's time in the Army! I currently live in Franklin and have always called it home, although I have lived in Staunton, VA while I worked there, and twice in Morgantown, WV while I went to school and later went back to work there. I have always been interested in genealogy, but have never really done a lot of research, so all of this is new to me. Several of my cousins have done extensive work on my mother's family, so I'm really interested in my father's side, and what I can find. My mother, Lula Belle Hevener Kline, originally of Deer Run, was the daughter of Daniel Ezra and Rena Mae Dahmer Hevener. We have traced back portions of this side of the family to their arrival in the United States. My grandfather's parents were William Miles and Sarah Jane Greenawalt Hevener, and my grandmother's parents were Pinkney and Jenny Burgoyne Dahmer. I have the Burgoyne family history and some on the Heveners, but nothing on Pinkney Dahmer or Sarah Jane Greenawalt. My father, Thomas Reon Kline, is the son of Selma Grace Hinkle Kline and the late Reon Howard Kline. I don't have much information on this side of the family, so any help would be appreciated. My grandmother's parents were Isaac Harness and Phoebe Jane Stone Hinkle. My grandmother was born in Crabbottom, Highland Co., VA in 1907. My grandfather's parents were David Edgar Kline and Eliza Jane Propst Kline. My grandfather was born in Circleville, Pendleton Co., WV in 1906. Thanks for any help! Kim Kline 1906. Thanks for any help! Kim Kline

It's called "Formula 8870." Example: Died 6 May 1889 18890506 Age 71 years 7 mos. 9 days (subtract) - 710709 _________ 18179797 -8870 ________ 18170927

I'm not real sure who he is, a cousin or just a friend of the family. If anyone thinks he's one of theirs, let me know and I'll scan a copy to you. 2. Carol Urban
    3. Dear Jerilyn, I don't claim to be an expert on the Puffenbarger's but I think I have the only webpage on them on the internet. :) You are welcome to search through the names to see if you can locate Elizabeth Puffenbarger. I don't have any Oates. Perhaps Sarah Jennie was born in Weston on the way to Ohio. It's not that far from Highland or Pendleton counties and would be on the way. Carol Pack Urban http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Estates/4606/puff.html P.S. If you find someone who might be a match let me know perhaps I have more info in my FTM database than what is on the webpage.
