Ken, I know nothing about the Pickle line, but I'm interested in the Carrico line. My 4th great grandmother was Monica Carrico (1745-1815), second wife of John Turton Goff. I have a little information about the family, which I'll be glad to share Lillian Dodd ====================== On Tue, 3 Aug 1999 19:19:41 -0800 "Ken Carrico" <kencarrico@gci.net> writes: > Jean, > > I also descend from this line and would be interested in > anything also. > > Ken Carrico > kencarrico@gci.net > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jean Loudin <jloudin@rtol.net> > To: <WVPENDLE-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, August 01, 1999 7:38 AM > Subject: Henry Pickle > > > Does anyone have any information on Henry Pickle. Hi, Have been following the Arbogast postings with much interest and hope someone out there can help me with my line. Catherine Arbogast, b. 1795/1804 m. Joseph Mulanax about 1818, Clark or Champaign Co., Ohio. She died about 1835 in Madison Co., Ind. 1. Does anyone have more on her birthdate? 2. Has anyone located her marriage certificate. 3. Does anyone have info. other than family histories that will prove that Catherine, Kate and Abby are the same person. I'm trying to put in a Supplemental for DAR based on her grandfather's service -- and I have papers showing her name as Catherine -- and another as Abby -- but nothing that "proves" they are one and the same. I have a copy of Chuck Eades book and it's wonderful -- but it doesn't address the proof that I need. Would very much like to hear from anyone working on not only this line -- but also the Mulanax line -- as I come through their son William R. who married Mary Ann Kincaid -- and I've lost Mary Ann's parents too -- so need lots of advice and help. <G> Thanks, Ardie

I've been researching this family for almost 3 years now. I joined this group in hopes to find new information. Right now I have hit a brick wall with Richard Pennington and his wife Eleanor Pritchard who settled in Pendleton County, W.Va. There is a date of abt 1745 but I don't know if that is referring to when he settled in Pendleton County or if this is his birthdate. Any information on this and any other Pennington from this area will be appreciated. I will also be willing to share information with anyone interested in this line of Pennington's. Thanks Debbie

Christian ROLEMAN's will (dated April 30, 1824, proved on August 4, 1824) mentions his grandson Christian Harman. Does anyone know who Christian's parents were? In Morton's book, History of Pendleton County, page 212, there is a marriage between Frederick Harman and Elizabeth Ruleman in 1800. This is the only place I've seen Frederick mentioned. Does anyone know anything about this couple. I realize that Morton made mistakes. However, after seeing Christian Roleman's will mention his grandson Christian Harmon, I wonder if he might be the son of Frederick and Elizabeth. Thank you for your help.
