Hi, Sorry to butt in but I found several Drais and Draise family members buried in the Day Cemetery in Ross Co., Ohio. Specifically, Henry Drais 1834-1913 m. Phoebe Harper 1842-1912. Several other Harpers are buried there along with a number of Day family members. Anna Michael Day w/o Ransom Day and d/o Barbara Harper and William Michael from Pendleton Co. are buried there. So is Elon Harper 1817 -1881 who married Barbara Ross b. 1819. Since the Day and Harper family came from Pendleton Co, I can't thinking that the Drais came from there as well. Sorry for the error, I goofed up my previous post. I was looking for info on the family of HUGH A Nelson (not Huga, sheesh). I also forgot that he died in 1906 and his family had started to go their way by 1910. If I'm not mistaken, it's the 1900 census that was destroyed by fire. I visited an elderly woman in the mid 80's who had lived in (what later became my grandparents home) as a child.
