    3. Hi, Sorry to butt in but I found several Drais and Draise family members buried in the Day Cemetery in Ross Co., Ohio. Specifically, Henry Drais 1834-1913 m. Phoebe Harper 1842-1912. Several other Harpers are buried there along with a number of Day family members. Anna Michael Day w/o Ransom Day and d/o Barbara Harper and William Michael from Pendleton Co. are buried there. So is Elon Harper 1817 -1881 who married Barbara Ross b. 1819. Since the Day and Harper family came from Pendleton Co, I can't thinking that the Drais came from there as well. I'm listing the Drais buried there in hopes you may see a connection to Pendleton Co. Drais. Day Cemetery, northwest of Frankfort, Ohio in Ross Co.: Drais, Inf d/o H & P d. 3. Sorry for the error, I goofed up my previous post. I was looking for info on the family of HUGH A Nelson (not Huga, sheesh). I also forgot that he died in 1906 and his family had started to go their way by 1910. If I'm not mistaken, it's the 1900 census that was destroyed by fire. Would anyone have access to the 1890 Pendleton Census? Again, my apologies, especially if someone already tried to look it up. Chuck Clark

    3. If anyone has access to a copy of the 1890 or 1910 census, might they be willing to check something? We need to find out whether Lloyd Nelson or Haven Nelson were shown in the household of Hugh A Nelson and Virginia Wimer Nelson. Hugh and Virginia's daughter Grace Nelson Bland was Martha's grandmother and we're trying to prove that Lloyd and Haven Nelson were her brothers. Thanks in advance, Chuck Clark

    3. I believe that may be the case. The family lived (with at least one daughter) in the home I described on Main street in Franklin, which they sold to my grandparents in the late 1920's. The Boggs family then (I believe) moved into an old house a block down and now behind the home of Dr. Charles Sites of Franklin. I visited an elderly woman in the mid 80's who had lived in (what later became my grandparents home) as a child. I found some old papers in the attic and want to return them to a direct descendant of the family. Not a lot of stuff but one thing of interest was a check from 1858.
