    2. There is a Hawes Run E of Brandywine, WV which runs into the South Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac. Could be misspelled as Horse Run. This would be Pendleton Co. What are the names in the deed? Ruby

    3. Hi Beckie, In the Highland County Cemetery Book "Vital Records of Highland County Virginia"; For info in the Doe Hill Cemetery it reads as follows: Capt. John McCoy Rev. War Burial Site 1mi. south on Hiner Farm There is a copy of this cemetery book in the Monterey Library located in Monterey, VA, Highland Co. which is about 15 miles from the Doe Hill Cemetery.
