Thanks. I think this is from another part of the McCoy line. Beckie > 1930 census, WV, Greenbrier Co., Falling Spring, p9A, 135-135 > McCoy, George W., head, 50, m. at 43, wv-wv-wv, farmer-general farm > Alice A., wife, 47, m. at 40, wv-wv-wv > Mason O?, son 13, wv-wv-wv >
Hi Rosemary--Just for clarification, does this mean that Solomon Pennington married a Davis? Do you have any additional information? Thank you!:-) Yes, it looks that way. Narrowing down the date of death is my next task. Also, his wife, I notice has the two different spellings of her name (Almira and Elmira). Any thoughts on narrowing down the death date for Peter William Arbogast would be appreciated. I wrote the County Clerk's office a few years back, but no luck. Thanks again!:-) -Jaymes:-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "pamrooney" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 8:02 PM Subject: [WVPENDLE] 1920 > GRANT COUNTY, UNION TWP. > 1920 West Virginia Series: T625 Roll: 1952 Page: 93 > > ARBOGAST, KENTON 52 > > Wife: Sarah M 50 > Daughter: Willie F. 10 > Mother: Almira 82 widow > Brother: Harman 40 single > > Looks like Peter deceased between 1910 and 1920--Elmira, his wife still > living in 1920. > > [email protected] > http://www.egroups.com/group/coil-connections > Visit my Rootsweb Free Homepage > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~firebird/ > > > ==== WVPENDLE Mailing List ==== > Genealogy without documentation is mythology! >

Ancestry.com has the 1930 census completely indexed, every name, but you have to purchase an online subscription, same as genealogy.com. Here's who has the census data indexed: (these are the ones I know about) 1930 indexed, every name, ancestry.com 1920 indexed, head of household, ancestry.com 1910 indexed, head of household, genealogy.com 1900 indexed, head of household, genealogy.com 1880 indexed, every name, familysearch.org (FREE) 1870 indexed, head of household, genealogoy.com 1860 indexed, head of household, genealogy.com 1850 indexed, head of household, ancestry.com 1810-1840 on both ancestry.com and genealogy.com
Thanks for the info. I'm assuming every page is a separate file? I have DSL but don't know if I have the patience! Hello Geno, Peter William Arbogast (b. 1836 Highland County, VA., d. After 1900, probably Grant County, W.Va.) Anything is appreciated. Almira (Elmira?) (Pennington) Arbogast (b. 1837, Pendleton County, VA. d. After 1900 in Grant County). Anything would be appreciated. There are no gravemarkers in the cemetary where they are buried and I'm looking to get more information as to the dates of death, etc. before I can have a marker placed on the supposed site of their burial. I contacted the County Clerk's office in the past, but they said they had no listing. Anything you might come up with concerning either, or both of them would be very much appreciated. Thank you; -Jaymes ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gene Phares" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 1:42 PM Subject: Re: [WVPENDLE] 1930 Census > Yes, ask away. > > I have the entire 1930 census on my computer and access to other areas as well.
