Thanks for responding. The Peter listed in the book is his grandfather (I've used the book when I was at the Gen Society). I suspect his father (also Peter) is in Mt Tabor (his 2 wives are), but his grave must be unmarked. Since Peter W and Lena were living in Rock Gap when she died, I think she may also be in an unmarked grave In Mt Tabor - but can't find anything to prove it. I'm not sure why Peter W is in Magnolia and not with the rest of the family in Mt Tabor. His second wife is in Greenway (according to her death cert). -----Original Message----- From: cbailey@tctc.com To: deeelkay@aol.com Sent: Tue, 5 Sep 2006 10:06 AM Subject: Re: [WVMorgan] Magnolia Cemeteries I have a cemetery book (Graveyard History of Morgan County)that says Peter Shirley is buried in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. However, the date of death is given as June 30, 1884 (aged about 92 years). Could this be a father? This Peter's wife was Elizabeth S, who died May 12, 1868 (aged 62)and is buried in the same cemetery. There is a second wife Mary E who died August 27, 1891 at age 53. This book may only give early cemetery information. > > From: deeelkay@aol.com > Date: 2006/09/05 Tue AM 07:25:13 EDT > To: WVMORGAN-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [WVMorgan] Magnolia Cemeteries > > I recently got a lead on the burial location my husband's g-grandfather, Peter Wesley Shirley (d. 1926). According to his death certificate, he was buried in Magnolia and the undertaker was in Paw Paw (the undertaker's name looks like W.D.
