William Alderton b.1751 and Margaret Edwards b.1751 VA. are my gr gr gr grandparents on my fathers side. They had a son, Jacob Alderton b.5 Oct 1803 - d. 17 Jan 1877 (if my records are correct.) Family Members Spouse Anna Maria E Hardy 1823-1889 (2nd wife married 1851) Children Sarah Alderton 1852- Jacob Alderton 1855- David Alderton 1859- Margaret Alderton 1861- *JACOB BERKELEY ALDERTON 1865-1950 Martha A Alderton 1868- Peter Alderton 1876- (I believe that Anna Maria Edwards Hardy Had a son from a previous marrage named Jerimiah) Spouse Sarah Largent 1807-1851 (Jacob's First Wife) Children Thomas Alderton 1832-1870 Harriett Alderton 1836- John Alderton 1836- I have a photo from abt 1885 from the Alderton homestead in Paw Paw W.Va (685 acres from the Fairfax landgrant in Berkeley S[rings Courthouse 1797) In the photo are pictured: Jacob Berkeley Alderton(1865), Jacob Alderton(1855), David Aldeton(1859), David's wife(name unknown), Mother, Anna Maria Edwards Hardy(1823), and Harriet Alderton Cowgill Jacob Berkeley Alderton(1865) married Mary Vernon Anderson(1875-1947. They had 2 children, Lovell Anderson Alderton and Audra Alderton(Crossing). Lovell Anderson Aldetton married Helen Tyler. They had 2 children, Diane Alderton and Lovell Anderson Alderton JR.
