I hope that you can offer me some guidance and assistance. As the editor responsible for all of our West Virginia titles, I'm very interested in informing Morgan County area historians, genealogists, archivists, community leaders, and museums about the opportunities that we offer. We publish a popular series of photographic histories called Images of America, which chronicles the histories of communities, towns, and neighborhoods throughout the country. I do want to emphasize that, unlike many local history publishers, we are not a vanity press. Rather, we finance the entire publication and pay royalties to the author, which makes it a great fundraiser for organizations. I am looking to add a photographic history of Morgan County to our 2005 program.
