Sheppard born May 1842. He was the son of Stephen Sheppard/Shepherd and Mary Johnson.I don't know his wife's maiden name, but in the census she is listed as Emma or Emmaline. In Sleepy Creek Dist. Morgan Co, WV 1900 census they have a child living with them named Alonzo E. Sheppard age 18. Is this the family you are looking for? I am related to the Johnson, Sheppard and Logue families. Joann
