While going through my notes, I think I may have stumbled across the death date for William S. COMBS wife "Mattie". I jotted down some of the WV COMBS from the death certificate index while looking for William's info reported to be 1933, and while reviewing my notes I noticed a "Mattie COMBS - October 27, 1932". Could somebody who lives near Martinsburg look this obituary up for me in the Morgan Messenger? I believe copies are available at the Martinsburg library. I "read" through the entire year of 1933 looking for William's obituary, but did not find it. I am wondering if his wife died in late 1932, possibly he went to live with one of his children elsewhere and died there. William S. COMBS is buried in Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw, WV. I don't believe his wife is buried there. They lived in Lineburg, WV (Morgan County), perhaps she is buried around there.
