Sarah HIGGINS MCBEE (in the posted obituary) is my maternal great-grandmother. Her sister (as listed in the obituary) is Mary Elizabeth "Molly" MCBEE who married Andrew W. HOILE. It appears that Andrew's father is also Andrew but I have no further information on his mother, etc. Listed children of this union - Harry H. HOILE Nellie HOILE (She married a NORRIS; I do not know this person's name.) Anna HOILE Edna HOILE S. M. HOILE I also have another connection to the HOILE/HOYLE family on my paternal lines. Mary E. "May" HOYLE is my paternal great-great-grandmother. She married George Taylor MCCOY. Her parents are Samuel HOYLE and Mary UNKNOWN. Listed children of this union - Rachel HOYLE Jane HOYLE Mary E. "May" HOYLE Catherine HOYLE At this time, I can't make a connection but I'm sure there is some somewhere. My research is very limited on the HOILE/HOYLE families. My mother recalls adoption occurring in connection with the family. When my mother was younger, an adopted female (from California) was referred to my mother's family but was told to contact my father's family with her inquiries. However, we are not aware if she was ever able to obtain the information she was requesting. This woman was attempting to locate her biological mother with a connection to the HOILE/HOYLE family. As a side note, in looking at my information for this posting, I came across an interesting fact in my obituary for Mary Elizabeth "Molly" MCBEE HOYLE. When she died on December 5, 1959, she was survived by a sister, Miss Annie HOYLE, CA. Please refer to the posting - "looking for hoiles in MD" dated June 24, 2002 posted by KathyByerly. I just came across this posting (possibly again) after looking at YOUR recent postings. Apparently the connection to this posting and the Annie HOYLE listed in the obituary escaped me in the past. Thank You for sparking this interest and encouraging me to look at my research once again. Sounds like there may be some connections here.
