List, Does anyone have fingertip access to the 3 volumes of obituary books for Morgan County? If so, would you please contact me. Thanks, David
Dear L. Zeigler, I have copies of the obituaries of : Idonia Smith / Mrs. Bruce Unger; Nannie E. Unger / Mrs. James W. Swaim; George Holland Unger, son of Bruce & Idonia Smith Unger; Floyd S. Unger, son of Bruce & Idonia Smith Unger; Mary Lee Unger / Mrs. Grover C. Fowler; If you are interested in any of the above obituaries please e-mail me. I have not found any further information on what happened to child, Bernard after he is named in his mother's obituary. I am researching the Bohrer family. LDS - familysearch.org shows the parents of Bruce Unger to be George M. & Sara Ann (Bohrer) Unger although there is no source information. There is further information about Geo M Unger's family but no further information about Sara Ann Bohrer's family. I find a Geo & Sarah Unger in both the 1870 & 1880 censuses in Timber Ridge Twp, Morgan Co, WV. I am wondering if you know anything more about Bruce Unger's family? Do you know which Bohrer family Sara Ann was from? I have an extensive "Bohrer" database (at present 36,000+ individuals, the majority of which are from the Morgan Co, WV area) I would be interested in connecting further with you to see if we have other points of mutual interest. For many years, I have searched for a marriage record for William Iiams and Martha McClure. They have eluded me as to where they were married. Martha McClure was born May 5, 1814 in either Warren Co., Pennsylvania or warren Co., Ohio and William was born Feb. 13, 1807 in Washington Co., Pennsylvania. Martha's parents were both born in Ireland. Martha & William settled in Shelby Co., Ohio where he died an early death in 1844 and Martha died in Allen Co., Ohio in 1896. Knowing that some people from Pennsylvania married in West Virginia I am sending this message in hopes that someone somewhere knows about Martha. Roberta Iiames

I have an interest in Olinger. In the Hunter papers there is a note unfortunately with no source that states that John Merchant (died 1811) married "an Olinger." Other records show her first name as Jane. So I am looking for a Jane Olinger born ca 1770-1780. This Merchant family was in Sleepy Creek. I did some preliminary research into Olinger that I am happy to share. Any help appreciated.
