The information obtained from this document show their marriage on Mar 20 1803. Williams birthdate is shown jan 06 178(illegible) Christena Widmyer as May 5 1775. The Fraktur Artist is only known as the Virginia Record Book Maker (as his identity is not known)but his work was generally bound into books for different families in the Berkeley and Morgan County Areas, many of the childrens birth dates, sometimes death dates would be recorded and often accompanied by a page of Fraktur Art such as Birds and Flowers. The Hobday family lists at least 5 girls, and an Abraham all born before 1821. William jr is not mentioned but not all pages were present in the book when it was viewed The source was MESDA May 1981Vol 7 Number 1 PG 17. Additionally from the Cemetery records Sarah Burke is the 2nd wife of Andrew Michael and the mother of Helen Michael.

Hello STECKMAN researchers, PLEASE, can you help? I would like to bring home my missing great-grandaunt's, and their families. They are not missing per-se, only that I don't have any clues as to their married surname. All of these ladies are sister's. I have their parents, siblings, family lineage, census info when they were children, family info, etc., however, I don't know as adults who they may have married. Hence, I don't know their married surname. Possibly if anyone has a female STECKMAN in your research, or your family lineage who married into your family, we might be able to have a connection. Mary Jane, b. c. 1840 Edna, b. c. 1842 Catherine "Kate", b. c. 1844, married a _____ LILLIS who d. before 1910. Emaline "Emily", b. c. 1847 Dorothea B. "Dora", b. c. 1857 Family info has Catherine married a Mr. Lillis, PA, he died shortly thereafter in PA. I don't have his given name, or if she remarried after his death. The family trail begins in Bedford Co, PA, into Fulton Co, PA, Washington Co, MD, Morgan Co, WV, and into Allegany Co, MD; after that a multitude of directions. If anyone is connected to this line or has knowledge pertaining to these ladies, any small clue or tidbit would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Fran

Hello, Are there any researchers of the Levi Hiram HENRY, b. Abt 1842, m. Mary Elizabeth WEISENBURG, b. Abt 1848 family of Morgan County, WV on this list? I am particularly looking for information pertaining to their son Levi Franklin "Frank" HENRY, b. Sep 1872, Morgan Co, WV, m. 29 Mar 1905, Morgan Co, WV to Anna Leona "Annie" SELBY, Washington Co, MD, b. Feb 1887 and their family. Any assistance is deeply appreciated. Thank you, Fran
Fran: I am a Henry descendant and I will give you what I have in my file. My records show that Levi Henry b. about 1841 d. 1891, was a son of Nicholas Henry and Catherine Yost. There is some disagreement with this among other researchers, however. A brief lineage is as follows: Nicholas Henry b. 7 Nov 1757 in Lancaster/Lebanon Co PA d. 19 Jan 1844, Morgan County VA. +Catherine Elizabeth Becker 1. William Martin Sr. b. 1780 PA (not proved) +Catherine Ulina a.Tenny b.Nancy b. 1799 c.Nicholas b. about 1814 d. 2 June 1895 +.Catherine Yost m. 1840 d. Sept 1876 1.Andrew Jackson 2.John W. b. about 1840 d. 21 May 1862 3.LEVI, b. 1841 d. 1891 +Mary E. Wisenburg m.21 May 1868 b.1847 d.1925 1a. Charles N. Henry b. 1874 d. 1894 4.Christinne E. b. about 1849 5.Nancy b. 1853 d. 1858 d.William Martin, Jr. b. 25 June 1822 d. 1 June 1903 2. Christina b. 9 May 1782 3. Johannes Peter b. 28 Oct 1784 4. Catherine Elizabeth b. March 115, 1787 (not proved) 5. George Adam b. 25 Dec 1789 6. Nicholas b. 1786 (note: There is no absolute proof that Nicholas b. 1814 is a child of Nicholas and Catherine, however, there are several things that point to this being the case.) If any other Henry researchers have corrections, please chime in. As you can see, I don't even have a Levi Franklin Henry as a child of Levi Henry and Mary Wisenburg. It's been a long time since I have researched this family and I need to fill in a lot of holes. If you would like this file with what I have on all the Henry descendants, I'll be happy to e-mail it to you. Hope this helps. Joy
