He was the son of Asher and Mary (Dehart) Burdette. 3. Giles M. Burdette, b. ca 1844, Monroe Co, VA (1850 Monroe Census), md. 31 August 1865 Monroe Co, WV to Margaret A. Mays, enumerated 1870 Wolf Creek Twp, Monroe Co, WV, d. 5 April 1920, Summers Co, WV (Summers Deaths). He was the son of George St. Clair and Elizabeth (Dehart) Burdette. NOTE: Elizabeth and Mary Dehart were sisters. George St. Clair, b. ca 1813 was the son of Joseph and Dicia (Burns) Burdette. 4. Giles Newman Burdette, b. 15 Nov 1860, Deepwater, Fayette Co, VA, resident 1870 Jackson Co, WV, resident 1880 Roane Co, WV, md. 5 Nov 1882 Roane Co, WV to Martha Ellen Hildreth, died 3 May 1937 Spencer, Roane Co, WV (History of Roane Co.) He was the son of George St. Clair and Octavia Petina (Kincaid) Burdette. NOTE: This George St. Clair Burdette was the son of Asher and Mary (Dehart) Burdette. 5. I got this from Steve but I don't know who George St Clair Burdette was, is he the son of this Asher who is reported to be a son of the Giles d 1829?
