Thanks for the information on this marriage. The dates seem to match. I did locate James W. Thomas on the 1880 census with wife Mary. James' age was 41 (b. 1839) and Mary age 37 (b. 1843). The information on the marriage of James Wm. Thomas on 24 Dec 1873 in Greenbrier has the groom age 35 (b. 1838) and Mary M. Lewis age 32 (b. 1841). Does anyone have more information on this marriage - who were the parents?? My initial query was for marriage information on: James Woods Thomas, b. 1838 in Greenbrier wife Mary McCreary b. 1843 ??? in 1880 they were in the Union District of Monroe County. Thanks! Karen
