Hi all Looking for Wicklines: Rayburn Jennings Wickline, b. March 16, 1897, Union, Monroe Co, WVA, d. 1951 WVA. He married Oassie O. Bowden, July 4, 1917 in Kanawha Co., WVA. Rayburn and Ocie were living in Summers County at the time of the 1920 Census They have four children buried at the Wickline Cemetery at Meadow Bridge, Just says babies, no marker. Rayburn is also buried there. He was a coal miner by trade and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Oassie O. Bowden: is also buried there at the Wickline Cemetery at Meadow Bridge, Summers County, WVA Rayburn parents were Delona Preston Wickline, b. 18 Dec 1869, Monroe County, WVA and died 24 January 1961 in Meadow Bridge, Fayette County, WVA. He married my great aunt. Luna Ruhama Lilly, March 6, 1902 in Hinton, Summers County, WVA, who were the daughter of my grandparent, Isaac Lilly and Susan Stovall. Question One - Rayburn was born before the marriage of Delona and Luna, was he born out of wed-lock or is he a son from a previous marriage? Mom nearly went up when I told her about the difference in the date. She said that Luna was a little on the wild side, but not that wild. Question Two - Who was Oassie parents? When and where were she born and when did she die? Question Three - What mines did Rayburn work in. Question Four - Who were the four babies that were born and buried in the Wickline Cementery? Horense Wickline, b 30 January 1902, Meadow Creek, Summers County, WVA, married Oley Clay, abt 1925, Summers County, WVA. Question One. Here again she was born just before the marriage of Delona and Luna. Was she a child of a previous marriage or born out of wedlock? Was her and Rayburn adopted by Delona or Luna or were they the parents on the birth certificate? Question Two. Where did she die and where is she buried? Question Three. Who is Oley Clay? I have a marriage date of abt 1925, Summers County, does anyone know exactly when and where? Who are Oley parents and when and where is he born and when ansd were did he die? Question Four.
