Nancy, This is a long shot, but I'm curious if you have run across the family of Isaac B. Scott in your Scott research. Isaac was b. ca. 1800 in MD, md. in Giles Co., VA in 1822 to Mary Harless, was in Alleghany Co, VA in 1850, Craig Co, VA in 1860, Meigs Co., OH in 1870, and Kanawha Co, WV in 1880, and died in 1881. He was a Campbellite Minister. His children were Andrew, Eleanor, Talitha, and Esmerelda Scott. His parentage eludes me. By 1850 my SCOTT family had settled into Alleghany County, Virginia and didn't leave until 1910 (not a one of them left, they must have liked it really well in Coveington) anyway I sure do appreciate your kindness for letting me know about him. Good luck in your search. nancy [email protected] wrote: > hi nancy. i also have been working on the scott family. i got a ton of > information from robert churchill. his e-mail address is [email protected] > you may want to e-mail him directly. miriam francis > > ==== WVMONROE Mailing List ==== > Please do not send attachments or personal messages to the list. ==== WVMONROE Mailing List ==== All subscribers are asked to send a message to introduce yourself and your surnames you're working on in Monroe County to the list.
